MEETINGS

 
 
The Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County is a governmental body that is subject to the Military & Veterans Assistance Act, it operates independently from the Cook County Government, but the county provides support.
We have quarterly meetings (unless special meetings are called), and each member organization is asked to have its delegate or alternate to register and attend. These are public meetings governed by the Open Meetings Act, and anyone is welcome. Public comments are to be limited to 3 minutes. We ask our membership to be conscious of time in their comments as well.
