Membership for Organizations is Closed for 2026

Organizational membership for 2026 in the Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County is now closed.

However, organizations that are already members for 2026 may change their delegate or alternate at any time during the year.

Please Note: Only the Commander, President, or Chairman of the member organization is authorized to request these changes.

If you are federally or state chartered (PA 103-0405) and your Post, Chapter, or Detachment has a minimum of 15 members, with at least 25% of your membership residing in Cook County, you may be eligible for membership.

Federally Chartered Veterans Organizations are eligible for membership and do not need to be state chartered. A list of recognized organizations is available below. recognized organizations.

All other organizations must qualify and obtain state charter status in order to apply. ➡️ apply here

Membership enrollment is open annually from January 1 through the last day of February.

 

We have simplified the membership registration process.

The Organizational Leader is responsible for appointing both a delegate and an alternate and should be the individual completing the registration form.
