The Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County (VACCC has released its Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of significant growth, expanded services, and increased support for Cook County Veterans and their families.
In FY25, the Commission provided more than $849,000 in direct financial assistance, a 30% increase over the previous year, and served 3,428 Veterans countywide. The report also details expanded outreach efforts, the reopening of accredited Veterans Service Officer (VSO) claims assistance, new support programs addressing food insecurity, transportation, utilities, and connectivity, and the opening of a new Chicago Regional Office focused on trauma-informed care.
The Annual Report underscores VACCC’s continued commitment to ensuring Veterans receive timely, dignified, and effective assistance while strengthening access to earned benefits and critical resources across Cook County. Click on image to download
