PARTNER REFERRAL SERVICES

The Veterans Assistance Commission of Cook County (VACCC) Partner Referral Services Program helps connect eligible Veterans and their families with trusted government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community partners that provide specialized support and resources not directly offered by the VACCC. These referrals may include assistance related to mental health services, housing and home repair programs, employment support, legal aid, emergency shelter, food resources, substance abuse treatment, service animals, transportation programs, and additional community-based services.

VACCC staff compile and maintain contact information, resource guides, and referral pathways with vetted partner organizations across Cook County, the State of Illinois, and federal networks to help Veterans access the support best suited to their individual needs. In some cases, completing an intake or referral request may trigger an automated email containing additional information regarding eligibility requirements, recommended documentation, available services, and next steps. Certain partner organizations may also contact the Veteran directly for follow-up and case coordination.
